Skeleton Crew, the newest Star Wars sequence to hit Disney+, premiered earlier this week and instantly set itself aside within the galaxy far, far-off by boldly embracing Amblin-style vibes. Its set of brand-new characters consists of the mysterious, Force-sensitive Jod Na Nawood (Jude Legislation)—and a gaggle of adventurers whose common age skews youthful than the standard Star Wars forged members. Holding that retro ’80s really feel alive is that this new music video that includes a track beforehand heard in a Skeleton Crew trailer: synth-pop banger “Main Tom (Coming Dwelling).”
The track’s authentic artist, Peter Schilling, discovered chart success in 1983 with each the English and German variations of the monitor (that was an enormous factor within the ’80s; keep in mind Nena’s “99 Luftballoons”?).
